The Cuban archipelago is formed by the island of Cuba - the bigger than the Antilles -, the Youth's Island and around 4 195 keys and islands. He/she extends along 1 200 km and it occupies a surface of 110 992 km². It is located in the Caribbean Sea, to the entrance of the Gulf of Mexico, and they only separate it 77 km of Haiti, 140 km of the Islands Bahamas, 146 km of Jamaica, 180 km of the Florida, and 210 km of Cancun. |
